Shoofly Bridge
(and Indian Falls)
Back to 2003

On Sunday, March 2, we decided to take a hike to see if we could get to the old Shoofly Bridge.  The bridge was built in the early 1800's by Wells Fargo, and is on the old road that originally connected Greenville to Quincy, now named Quarry Road. The road had been improved by a quarry operation that was located nearby, but eventually abandoned when the new highway was built.

It was a beautiful March day and we enjoyed a very fun hike.

We noticed another couple crossing the bridge, so we followed them.
